Jesus Said “My peace I give you “(John 14: 27).
The word Shalom means peace. Peace is a gift of Jesus Christ. One of
the greatest gifts Jesus Christ gave to his disciples was peace. The
peace of God is one of the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit (Gal
5:22).
Jesus
gave us two greatest commands. One is to love God, second is to love
our neighbor (Mark 12:30, 31). Like love, peace is a rope that binds
us together in unity. Where there is Christ’s love there will be
Christ’s peace.
Peace is available only in Jesus Christ. Apart from Christ the Holy
Spirit does not dwell within us and if the Holy Spirit is not in our
life there be no peace either.
So the real peace comes through a relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ,
then you
have peace.
May the Lord of peace Himself give you peace and be with you all.
